Men and women, staff and volunteers gathered today to pray for Newpoint’s growth and the arrival of additional Christian Brothers to the house. The men Newpoint Partnership is striving to serve is a very small segment of the men returning from incarceration, and those who would like to come are frequently delayed due to issues within and decisions by the Department of Corrections and/or the Board of Pardons and Paroles. Wisdom is needed for the Selection Committee in deciding who is appropriate for Newpoint’s program and how can we best serve our Christian Brothers when their arrival dates are frequently indeterminable until a day or two before their arrival. Please pray for Newpoint’s Selection Committee.
