Discipline Policy

I, _________________________________________, understand that I am placing myself under the authority of Newpoint Partnership and that not following the Guidelines of the program or the directives of the staff of Newpoint Partnership can result in discipline, which can range from additional chores to removal of privileges or even being removed from the program.

The goal of discipline at Newpoint Partnership is to correct thinking and behavior that is antithetical to mature Christian character. Discipline, therefore, is not administered to punish, but rather to show the cost of sinful behavior and provide incentive to not repeat the behavior.

If I have a problem with a rule or staff directive, I may bring my concern/grievance to the Discipleship and Residence Director. If the issue is not resolved at that level, I may bring my concern/grievance to the Executive Director. The Executive Director shall make the final determination in the matter and there is no further appeal.

If I am removed from the program because of my failure to live within the Program Rules, Newpoint Partnership will immediately notify my Community Supervision Officer and I will immediately gather my personal belongings and leave Newpoint House.

If I voluntarily remove myself from the program, I will not be allowed back for a minimum of 30 days. There are no exceptions to this rule.
